Dr. Steinberg was in private practice for 25 years. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Ark. It was at the Ark, serving underprivileged and high-risk decay patients that his interest in decay treatment options began. He is Clinical Consultant for the University of Illinois College of Dentistry Continuing Education Online course on Dental Caries. Few if any presentations are as immediately relevant or as practical for General Dentists. Dental Caries management is our primary focus. From a medical legal prespective we must be familiar with the new standard of care. From a cosmetic dentistry perspective we must be careful not to create artistic masterpieces on "rotton canvases." This presentation will supply dentists and staff with a practical, easy to implement, protocol consistent with today's scientific paradigm. You will learn about CAMBRA-CAries Management by Risk Assessment as well as the new technologies and chemotherapeutics, such as remineralization, available for the modern management of this disease.
